The University College of Applied Sciences in Chełm
- is the largest civil academic institution, educating students in the field of aviation specialties, enabling them to obtain the license of airplane pilot, helicopter pilot, aircraft mechanic and flight dispatcher. Students, who participate in training have access to modern laboratories featuring equipment that guarantees a high level of aviation training, including a wind tunnel, flight simulators and a constantly growing modern fleet of aircrafts, including: multi-engine airplane MEP(L): Tecnam P2006, trainer aircrafts such as AT3-R100, Cessna 172, 152 and Robinson R44 helicopter.
- Aviation training is supervised by a highly qualified team of instructors with broad theoretical and practical knowledge and licensed technical staff responsible for aircraft maintenance and airworthiness.
- The University College of Applied Sciences in Chełm Aviation Training Centre cooperates with all major airlines in Poland and companies from the aviation industry, including: PLL LOT, LOTAMS, ENTER AIR, WIZZAR, RYANAIR, HEMS etc.

Helicopter training – after graduation students are issued a Commercial Pilot License (Helicopter) CPL(H)
Aircraft training– after graduation students are issued a Commercial Pilot License (Airplane) CPL(A) including VFR NIGHT, IR(A); MEP(L), IR/ME and ATP(L) “frozen”
Flight dispatcher – after graduation students may obtain a Flight Dispatcher License (FDL)

AVIATION TRAINING OFFER
Enrollment (qualification) for the Pilot training specialization is carried out in accordance with the detailed rules set out in § 3 of the Aviation Personnel Training Regulation of The University College of Applied Sciences in Chełm.Students may take part in enrollment process if they meet two basic requirements: they hold a first class medical certificate and pass the first and second semester of studies in MECHANICS AND MECHANICAL ENGINEERING specialization. The qualification criteria comprises the sum of points awarded to the candidate for:
the results of the tests on general aviation knowledge and interview
English test and English conversation results
the average grades for exams and credits determined by the study program of the last academic year / last two semesters
aviation achievements, including, among others: licenses held by the candidates (PPL, PL(G)), additional flying hours, confirmed ICAO English proficiency certificate and flight training certificates
